Cetus HV?

Hi,
I'm in the market for a new boat, the Cetus is on my short list, and was wondering if anyone has a Cetus HV I could try out?
Thanks,

Re: Old Quarry Campground Closed

That sounds like an epic paddle around Isle Su Haut. It's kind of eerie out on that exposed side even on a bright sunny day. I remember getting one of the best kayak packing lessons ever on that boat "ramp." After packing every conceivable square inch of space in the kayaks, convincing our...

Re: Old Quarry Campground Closed

I also can't see anyone willing to spend that kind of money and keep it running in the current capacity. Would be great if it remained a campground of some sort, still allowed folks access to the launch, and a place to leave their cars. I always appreciated being able to take a shower before the lon...

Old Quarry Campground Closed

Sad news to hear that Old Quarry is shutting down for good and the property is for sale. Had some great times and adventures up there, was really a great resource for the small boating community.

Re: Camping for 2019

About 10 years ago, when I used to talk to the rangers, they claimed they could always find a spot for kayakers. Most of the rangers I talked to stated kayakers tend to be low impact and self sufficient, so it's not a big deal to write a permit on the spot, and find a site to squeeze into. I'm not s...

Hull Gut parking

Anyone know what the parking situation is out by the gut? Are there still spots to leave a car for a long day paddle, or an overnight out to the islands?
Thanks!

Sounds like an advertisement for the aca coastal kayaking classes more than anything, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes a class or two a season with a good instructor, can help your paddling ramp up to a new level, or show you concepts and techniques you weren't even aware of. A good...

You're welcome to borrow my Shadow, but it paddles nothing like an Explorer. I've been looking at the classifieds for a new boat and have noticed the following. There's an Explorer in the classified section here, and the seller Kevin B might be willing to rent it to, he runs m and might be able to h...

Going over to play the outgoing current at little harbor, probably getting on the water around 10am, done by 1ish, if anyone is interested. Great spot for playing and or working on staying upright in moving water. Please respond if you're interested in going. Helmet strongly recommended.

Been wanting to try this one for awhile, need to get it in before memorial day weekend and parking restrictions. If people want a more a more structured session with instruction we can make that happen. I'd willing to help out a few people new to the surf zone (up to 4,) for something like an introduction to surf class, otherwise I'm picturing more of an ongoing informal session.

New Inlet Wave Session September 25th

Anyone interested in a surf session down at the New Inlet in Scituate? There's a 7:20 am high tide, so meet around 9am to get a ride out and play/surf until maybe 1ish when we can get a ride back in.

Helmets, adequate boat and clothing required.
