Re: driftway short trip today

:paddler:

Sounds like a great time. I want to head up that way and hit the 'spit'. I have read about it.
Its a little further North than I usually go but sounds worth it.

9/26/15 Plymouth Harbor Flats

I was able to make some time Saturday to venture out for a good day paddle around Plymouth Harbor. I had my Ocean Kayak Trident Prowler 15 and a new fish finder to play with. Time ran away with me so I did not get out when I wanted and ended up walking around on the flats at low tide. It was pretty ...

Nor’easter Paddling - Lake Nippenicket - Bridgewater MA

I had my Necky loaded onto my van 10/23 to meet up with a buyer. The person backed out, not uncommon with craigslist. Considering the Kayak was on the roof and I had my wet weather gear with me I decided to go out and paddle the Nip. I drive by it on the way home from work. There was a Nor'easter in...

Eddyline Merlin XT 15ft Sea Kayak $ 750

Merlin XT - built for heavy loads and big paddlers. This boat is in excellent condition. It has only seen the water a handful of times. No scratches, gouges or anything. It has been siting in storage for years and years. I have a new Rubber end cap coming from Eddyline Kayak for the front. The cap f...

Greys Beach Short Paddle

Good weather Saturday 8/16. I don't get out much anymore, five kids but the water called me out for a quick couple of hours. I buy / sell Kayaks and ended up with a Ocean Kayak Prowler Trident 15 that I wanted to try before I sell. Wonderful fishing machine : ) My wife dropped me off at Greys Beach ...

Re: Took my Tsunami 250 down the nemasket... Got wet

I have only had the opportunity to do the Nemasket once.
There is no easy way for me to portage with getting dropped off and picked up.
Wifey helped.

Fun ride, i had prettly low water so i felt a few rocks pretty good.
I also went into the drink.
The fish ladders at Oliver Mill were my undoing. : )

Broad Cove Onset to Mass Maritime 3/23/14 noon

Hi, I usually do a lot of fresh water Kayaking and kayak fishing. I have been getting more daring in my sea adventures over the last few years and I decided to try a decent run (for me anyway). I have a first generation Carolina 14'7" with rudder, skirt, paddling jacket, gloves and hat of cours...

Re: Field and stream kayak from dicks

The F & S is a very nice Kayak in design but the hull scratches super easy. I saw one on the rack that was so scratched from shipping that they penetrated the hull near the seat bottom and there was a crack. This was a new boat. I urged them to take it down. Dicks has a big sale on paddle sports...

Re: Harbor Island Off Season Photo Contest

What do you guys use for cameras? I have a Kodak Playsport Zx5, which I call my poor mans Hero. Its nice and waterproof though. Ice is the only thing that usually stops me. Some time mid December - I'd have to look at my camera dates when im home - I enjoyed a quiet winter night in the harbor off of...

Re: New to your group, but an avid adventurer.

Hi John, My name is Rob, I live in Middleboro and paddle when I can. I have 5 kids now so its not so easy to make the time. I know two John Healys in town - one I went to school with (im 31) and another that I picked up some Masonite sheets from this summer near 105 / 28 intesection. Either way - We...

Re: Hard core paddler

I sold an early Seventies aluminum Delphi Canoe to a man who lived in Billerica MA a few months ago.
I saw the pictures online and I could swear it was the same boat. I can imagine it passing hands somehow.

It would be kinda neat if it was the same one.
