Re: Thursday 9/24

FWIW, we plan to head to Nelson Park in Plymouth, instead of the Long Pond this evening. High tide at 6, sunset at 6:37. After some play near the launch, we may go see if there's any residual swell on Brown's Bank. We plan to launch at 4:30.

Re: Hingham 8/27 4:30pm

For what it's worth, Kamilla and I are thinking that we'll hit Stephen's Field this afternoon at about 4:30. If the weather's bad, we won't go. If it's questionable (likely) we'll stay close to shore and play with skills a bit. Then we can ditch to the beach if the thunder rolls in. Current model sh...

Plymouth 7/30

Although it will only be a couple of hours past low tide, there should be enough water to to some paddling in Plymouth harbor this afternoon, say after 4:30. Kamilla and I plan to launch at Stephens Field, should anyone want to join. The incoming tide will bring in some cooler water, I hope! It look...

Kate -- Now that's just embarrassing! But thank you for your kind words. It was all your skill, not anyone else's. I remember how much people enjoyed your mentoring at Delmarva. I also remember that the first time I ever paddled in Plymouth was with you and a friend of yours. I live in Plymouth now,...

Jordan -- Hansen it is. For the future, if interested, the ramp is here: m We've been going on weekends and evenings when the tide times are inconvenient, but only the last two months or so. It has seldom been busy. That could change, of course, as the weather warms up. There is a small sandy area, ...

Folks -- Thursday night sounds great. Last session, there was mention of moving the venue around. Would anyone be interested in Long Pond in Plymouth? It has a large, paved, public parking lot and a small clean beach scrubbed by a stream next to a concrete ramp. The lake is deep and clear, with some...

I'll be bringing another Greenland paddler in a skin-on-frame. No pizza for me; I have to bug out as soon as we're off the water.

Jordan and all — Sorry to miss you last evening. My bad. I should have inquired earlier to see if anyone was coming. It was a lovely time nonetheless, with the sun popping out behind clouds. I’m down in Plymouth. We have good fresh and salt water to paddle, with a very quiet launch area behind Plymo...
