Union street bridge...

Sorry if I bypassed a thread about this issue already....but I heard that the union street bridge (norwell/marshfield) will be closed for about a year for bridge repair and/or replacement. There are already signs up that the road is closed--to be used by local residents only due to bridge being out....

How is parking in either location? In Hull is there free/no hassle parking on the bay side Hull (next to the white building with red roof or trim, i think)? And how about parking at Hough neck area? I think the Quincy lauch is pretty much residential with limited parking ?

Thanks,
Jeff

Peddocks from Hingham Harbor...

Has anyone ventured over to Peddocks while leaving from the beach/boat ramp at Hingham Harbor. Looking to go out sunday a couple of hours prior to high tide, paddle over the tip of Worlds end, over to Bumpkin and then maybe to Peddocks. Bumpkin to Peddocks is a pretty open area (meaning boat traffic...

I agree with everything said so far. I have received alot of great info from browsing through the forum topics here. I think you should also keep in mind--where you intend on going in the future with your paddling. What I mean by that is I started out using a used Pungo 10 footer, moved up to a 14 f...
