Hi All, we are looking forward to next Saturday night. We live at 214 Moraine Street (route 3A) in Marshfield, right near the Duxbury town line. Chip, no. You can sign up for them individually. I believe each session will be $8 for members, $10 for non-members. The cooking class I believe is a little more. Audubon will have this up on their website soon.

Pat, I had to look up Blodgett pizza oven, I'm pretty sure we could/should cover how to pack one in a kayak throughout the series. We might need to remove the legs to get it in the back hatch, if it's you making the pizza, we will find a way.

Pablo, wish I was in the market for a boat. The Looksha IV is one of my favorite boats. In my opinion it is one of the most versatile kayaks ever made. Re: Orcas under the boats

It was a thrill but, little did we know what encounter was next. After the orcas, we landed on a beach only to discover we were being stocked by a wild tom turkey ice sculpture. Frozen for at least 10,000 years this saber tooth turkey slowly crept up behind us as we devoured the last of our chocolate.

Orcas under the boats

We encountered this pod of 8 orcas as we rounded Point Doran in Harriman Fjord in Prince William Sound last week. They dove right under the boats as we pulled out cameras and realized that kayaks, even our expedition style kayaks, are kind of small.

Lance, I think your on to something. Of course your experiment could take on more integrity by modeling a semi diurnal tide over a diurnal tide.

Also if finding a scale for exploring results using scotch, there are places in Scotland that frequently experience 6 meter differentials.
