Hi Steve.

I have climbed Mt. Monadnoc once and it was a great climb with an amazing 360 view from the top. A perfect daytrip from Marshfield.

However, we are skiing in Vermont this weeked.

Keep trying, as I would love to join you on a climb one of these days.

Hi Doug.

You also said that the same kind of forest could be found in Norway. I just can't picture where?

Great presentation. Loved it!

Hi Todd.

Dinner sounds good. Want to pick a place close to the Science center? Meet around 5:45 pm so we have enough time to eat?

Any other Turkeys care for joining us?

Hi Todd.

It sounds like PPR in on the menu, but not dinner before the presentation. The date is March 14, just in case you got the dates or days mixed up.......

Any chance you can get Linda to join us?

Yours,

Hi guys.

I plan on going to Doug's presentation. Any one else?

Mount Blue is right down the street......just one out of many establishments in the area. We could meet for dinner, or a PPR.

Thanks, Craig. Yes, I missed that one. I was out of the loop for awhile.

Looks like the Wild Turkeys liked the Monomoy trip, so we probaby should repeat that trip this year. The Graves is on my list for 2007.

Paddle favorites 2006

Hi guys. As the new kayak season is right around the corner(?), it would be fun to take a poll of last season's favorites. Maybe we can repeat some of them this year. My favorites were Buzzard's Bay lead by dude Jonnysmokes. Monomoy and the seal under the excellent leadership of Jordan. And also Spe...

I like the sound of that. Maybe we should make that into a Wild Turkey Winter Bonanza........you can do all 4 events or team up.

All the Exuma photos from Karen, Joanne and I are stored at Shutterfly. Can I e-mail the photos to Pat that way?

I have a lot of photos, but don't know how to upload them to the Wild Turkey site. And no trip report of course. I am a terrible writer. And I have been skiing a few times too,...

Hi Chip. Sounds like we will be one big family of Tempest paddlers next season. I have my heart set on the Tempest 160 ( although I have not tried it yet). Hi guys. This is totally off topic, so maybe you can respond to me privately. Janet and I are looking for a mountain we can climb as a daytrip from Marshfield. One fun fact I learned from Linda's link is that the gray seal's scientific name, Halichoerus grypus, derives from the Greek words meaning "hook-nosed sea pig".

Ok......next contributor....wrapping up this report........or moving it past the seals.

How big/heavy do you think the seals were? They looked pretty big to me. I had one swim right under my kayak, and it was sized more like a sea lion (or maybe it was my imagination).
