We had two days of water on the West last weekend, with sun and 80 degrees. Sunday there were no lift lines.

Pat, I remember them running swim races in other years(with the traffic), but I think that I've only seen them once per summer.

Chris, If I were looking for a WW boat would your CR250 be suitable for me? Ken, The cr250 is a "riverrunning playboat" so it's shorter and a bit less forgiving than a creekboat like you paddled on the piscat. Playboats and riverrunning playboats are great for people who spend a bunch of ...

There are several spots to launch in south Boston. I'm on my phone so I can't post links, but norm has posted several trip reports where he launched from castle island or the gas tank. You can also launch on the Charles river and lock into the harbor. I don't know what the security restrictions are ...

I've trimmed several gaskets without issue. I bought a good sharp pair of scissors(actually a 3 pack @ staples) and trimmed one ring at a time. The scissors were under $10; and I set them aside for gasket trimming only. Youtube has many videos on trimming. Trim one ring at a time. If it feels tight ...
