Bea, They also make prescription swim/dive masks. They're a little larger than swim goggles and a bit smaller than ski goggles, allowing for decent peripheral vision. side note to your trip report - the whelk hunting was successful. we came home with about 10 rather large whelk shells - great colors too!! next time i'll join in the actual trip...

hi. i'm still in, if it's calm. finally did make it to waquoit - had a surprise tuesday off, and it was 55 degrees out! will need to wash the boat off at the carwash from now on as i just shut off the outside water here today.

one other thing to know about rudders - the 'smart track' system has a two-piece foot peg - the larger piece where the ball of your foot sits is solid/stationary, with the second piece being just above that, which is what you use to control the rudder, using your toes.
