hi Norm I stay at Ellis Haven in Plymouth. This is a good sized full service private campground with very easy access to RT 3. It is 22 miles from RT 18 to RT 44 in Plymouth. There are very nice beaches and put-ins along the South Shore including Hingham. Wompatuck, in Hingham is the only one around...

I'm going out on Saturday and Sunday morning for a 3-4 hour paddle from Nelson Beach in Plymouth. Weather is supposed to be good and the tide high.

Anyone up for a morning paddle from Nelson Beach in Plymouth tomorrow 6/22

I plan to be there at 8 AM and be on the water by 8:30 and back around Noon

Paved curb cut off of Commercial St and crushed stone parking and walkways

NELSON BEACH

Nelson Beach in Plymouth is still closed.
The whole area is being rebuilt. the parking lot is being moved back and expanded. They are also putting in a concrete boat ramp that can be used at high tide.
{The thing would have to be a 1/4 mile long to use at low tide}

Plymouth is having a harbor festival this week. there will be 3 Tall Ships and I'm told a PT boat tied up over the weekend. They will sail in on Thursday. They will have a Florida type boat parade Sat night

We got there at 2:30 and left at 5:30 or so.
The temp was 92 by the car at 2:30

I wore my farmer john and insulated shoes, Charlotte wore her Chotta Boots. The water was I would guess in the 50's
