Lady, two things...

The bear doesn't understand English.
If it did, it's likely that his name is NOT "Bear".

If there were people who wanted to go tonight, I didn't want to post anything to dissuade anyone, but tonight is also the Patriots season opener. Long range forecast shows next Thursday to be clear and lower 80's.

I'm just guessing that maybe they've got some sort of auto-signup method where it doesn't check if the date has already passed. All it knows is that the trip is (was) full.

Re: Skeg inaccessible

I'd like to say that I fixed it, but I believe that "fix" is too strong a word. Let's just say that it's operable again. It's still stiff, and this was causing a section of the cable to buckle. I duct taped that into place, and now I'm back in business. One thing though is that I have to r...

When you say "the back", are you referring to the area close to the skeg itself? If it's glassed in, how do they possibly fix issues up there near the control?

Skeg inaccessible

I'm having problems with my skeg, and I suspect that the problem is behind the controls. So I got in there today and was a little shocked by what I saw. I simply can't believe that they make the kayaks like this, but I really don't know. From what I can tell, the cable and assembly appear to be perm...

Re: Florida Bay 1/11/2015 to 1/17/2015

In her travels around the web, Sue found a spiffy html design trick for scrolling background images and demanded that I learn how to do it. As a test, I created a trip report page from Briggsy's report and Norm's photos. I don't know how much more of these I'll do, as it's kind of a lot of work, but...
