Hi Steve,
Thanks for being a good sport and bringing the camera gear. It captures another great night, and a little glimpse of the fun we all have getting better at what enjoy doing.
Have a great vacation.

Hi Roy,
You can't go wrong with a TEMPEST 170. I haven't found a better handling or more comfortable boat, bar none.
That was my two cents worth LOL
Good luck,
Jordan

Practice
Melissa, Try to make the practice this Thursday or as Pat suggested an alternate day. Some of us have some flexibility and could make another practice session on another day if some folks would prefer. Having a practiced wet exit an assisted /self rescue is really the only smart way to venture out. ...

Hi Steve, I think the video is a great idea, its amazing how much it allows you to see what's working, and what's not. Plus when you nail the roll, it becomes a great keepsake. I think there maybe only 1 or 2 more nights before the skills sessions in the evenings comes to an end for the season. Have...

Greetings All, A quick update for the trip start time 9:30 AM. Monomoy for September 9th
Greetings all, This trip could be a tad longer than orginally proposed. We may have to go a bit farther south to the lower portions of Monomoy, near Hospital Pond. The trip could conceivably closer to 15 round trip. Please bear in mind weather and water conditions will play a big part in the trip. L...

Its a fairly easy paddle and is usually about 10+ miles round trip. I'll map it out with some detail. If we are fortunate enough to have a great weather day it will be a paddle to remember. I hope to paddle again soon with you guys.

One more great interactive Skeg Lesson
http://www.atlantickayaktours.com/pages ... g-1A.shtml
This was the best interactive site I've seen to help explain how a skeg can be adapted to the conditions.
It's not all up or all down. The demonstration does a great job showing why.
Cheers,
Jordan

Hi, Car choices for transporting a kayak are miserable if you are not buying a truck. Launch from Squantum as an alternative?
Hi Pat, Thanks for a great evening of fun last night! I like the trip plans for 8/5/06. Squantum may be an easier alternative to launch for the trip if the construction is an issue, it would also avoid the gut if there are those who really shouldn't be in unpredictable fast / choppy water condtions....
