Re: Turkeys Do the Wave Part Deux 7/23
Briggsy, I have about a 3-4 hour window, from after noon until about 4. Not much time to get on the water. I'm up for going to Nantasket, but understand that it's a short time, and the parking can be a pain. Wish I had the time to get out to the new inlet, fun stuff out there with even a little bit ...

Re: Turkeys Do the Wave Part Deux 7/23
I don't think I'll be able to make the wave, but can get out in the afternoon to paddle\surf. Have to leave the beach at 4 to get home to the kid. There's supposed to be 2 feet but might be fun to play in.

Re: Turkeys Do the Wave Part Deux 7/23
Have to park out on Nantasket ave. Hull has legions of bike cops looking to generate revenue, so make sure to read the signs carefully. There is sometimes a little bit of surf at the very end of the beach (north side) but it's rocky. The new inlet in Scituate might be a better bet, even though it's ...

Werner One Piece 210 Carbon Corryvrecken For Sale $200 obo
I'm looking to sell my one piece Werner Corryvrecken paddle. It has a one piece straight shaft, meaning it doesn't come apart as there is no ferrule. It's set at a 15 degree feather, permanently, forever. Makes it a little tricky to transport, but also no ferrule to fail or loosen up over time. Make...

Going to bring the Delphin, too much of a bother to dig the long Shadow out of the basement for 40 minutes of paddling. So if all goes well will see you in the morning.

Re: Hull Snow Row 2014
My plans for the weekend fell through, so thinking about it if it's not too windy. Kinda sucks that one of the first paddles of the season is a "race" and not just a paddle.

You can put me down for a tentative 2 people, but will have to see how the better half is feeling, otherwise I'll be there solo. My photo collection still hasn't manifested itself from our move last winter, so I'm a negative for photo duty.

Took a Hammer to the wave in Cohasset about a month ago. A little big for that application, but was fun when the wave waned and got greener. Would be fun to take it out to New Inlet if there are ever waves out there again...

WIth the success of the first class, and at the request of a few people who couldn't attend the previous date, I'm seeing how many would be interested in a class October 5th? Thanks to Kate, Ken, Norm, Sue and Pat for coming out and making this surf class a success. Great to see people negotiating the surf zone so comfortably after just a short time out there. I hope everyone learned a lot, developed a feel and taste for the surf, and keep going back for more.

If people are interested in a surf class, I could put one on at the New Inlet in Scituate on a Saturday. Great venue to learn to surf, there are usually at least small waves on the outgoing tide. If people are interested I have included two dates for that work for the tides. Would like to keep this ...

Jan,
I'm interested in the Nordkapp blades. Not sure I need another Lendal shaft, already have three of them around, but if you don't want to part it out I'll just buy everything. Thanks. John
