I will be there is spirit. Physically, however, I will be in Aruba with my son who wants to learn Kite Boarding! I will be paddling as much as I can there, but suspect it will all be on sit on beach barges.

I've already reserved for 15. The catch is, it is only call ahead, however they said accomodating us all in the same area won't be a problem. I'll do my best to get there as early as possible.

The question is not what time you get out of work, but what time you will be at Uno's. I will there early.

Do you room for possibly one more? I won't know for sure until 4PM, but if you can fit me in, I'd appreciate it.

I stayed in my boat and still have all my gear, but there is a boat still pinned on the souhegan that probably isn't going anywhere until the level drops.

There were 2 long swims(one a close call with a strainer) , 2 or 3 boats pinned, and I had to repack my throwbag twice.(one to try and reach the pinned boat, and the other to get a swimmer to the correct side of the river.)

That definitely qualifies as a "complications"

I was hoping to see you last night to ask if you heard the details of what happened to Jim O"Brien out in the Westfield area. I didn't expect you'd have your own disaster story.

Norm - it wasn't a disaster, but I suppose that if a swimmer had ended up where the boat did it could have been tragic. There were some local people who were going to try to extricate the boat this afternoon.

I have not heard any details on that incident, all I know that is that he was a very skilled paddler.
