Frogman - I'm another paddling geocacher. Actually that's the type of geocaches I like the most. They don't seem very popular with the general caching crowd, so don't be discouraged if you don't get many hits. Most paddling caches I've done were on small bodies of water in my recreational kayak - this group is mostly sea kayakers. I haven't seen many caches near the open water and bigger rivers, but since I'm new to sea kayaking, I was concentrating more on skills last year while in the sea kayak.
I'm starting a list of the paddling caches on rivers and creeks that I want to tackle in the spring when the weather is warm enough for paddling but the salt water is still too cold for me because I don't have the proper clothing yet. What pond did you put the cache on and/or what is you geocaching name.

I did that cache with my paddling cache buddies "yakingcampers" last June. We really enjoyed that one - started late and ended up finding it by flashlight. We paddle that pond a couple times a year. My geocaching handle is "nhcabi".
You'll have to try the Nippenicket to Nunketeset multi when Jasta11 puts it back out in the spring - I think your Drinkwater multi inspired that one.
See you out there,
Norm
