Need safety kayakers for Great River Race

Hi folks,

We need a few kayakers for NSRWA's Great River Race on Saturday, July 30. This is an event that we help with every year. There are a few people who I generally count on, but I don't want to make any assumptions. I know that Ron and Chip are in. Jordan is always an automatic for this, but he's sidelined for the season, and we'll miss him.

available to work the whole weekend, if they need me.

After checking the family plans for next weekend, it looks like I will be able to help out with the safety. I have done it a couple of times, and it is always fun! So please add me to your list if you are still looking for people!

We can use 1-3 more people. There are four locations on the route that we like to position people. We need two at the finish line and two sweeping. We have people located at two spots in between, and they can each do it alone, but it's nice to have company.

Anyone planning a car pool? I will be racing but could use help moving the car. I can fit one extra boat on my roof rack so could move my car to the finish and bring an extra boat back to the start.
