Field and stream kayak from dicks
Has anyone used/bought one? Im looking for a yak that holds a lot of poundage (ahem, me) and is under 600$ and holds up to 500lbs which would be plenty for myself and any gear i could pack. This one seems to fit the bill. I tend to do a lot of trips on the weweantic, nemasket, north and taunton rivers as well as light coast paddling. I just want something buoyant. Any thoughts?

The F & S is a very nice Kayak in design but the hull scratches super easy.
I saw one on the rack that was so scratched from shipping that they penetrated the hull near the seat bottom and there was a crack.
This was a new boat. I urged them to take it down.
Dicks has a big sale on paddle sports sometime in the next month. These were selling for $ 350 the last two years.
Thats about what I would pay. Nice boat in design - poor plastic.
