Likely to be with the early bunch. Sunset is creeping back fast (7:44)

I expect to be there for both.

Edit: Scratch that. Exterminators are coming this afternoon and we have to evacuate the house for some hours afterwards, so we're going to camp. Have fun everyone!

Ron and I were noticing how nice the sunset was as we loaded the kayaks on the cars and were wishing we were still out beyond the yacht club to get a good picture. You can't get a good shot from the beach. Earlier, during the paddle in, I tried to get some good shots of the sky, but none of them came out very well.

One early sunset shot gives you a little idea of how nicely the sky was setting up for a much more dramatic red sky 20 minutes later after we were all off the water...

Sometimes it just better to carry a hand torch, there is no reason to attract unwanted attention.
