Waterproof map printer

Post by josko »

I need to have ~60 20"x30" topo maps printed on some sort of waterproof or laminated paper. I can supply the .pdfs, but does anyone know of a print shop set up to do this?

Josco,
I've been using this company for years to print blue prints.

Their home page says they can do it.

See if they can print on Tyvek. Tough, won't rip when wet and can be rolled up really small.

best

I haven't used Mylar for charts, but it works great for shop and sail templates; it's very durable. If you want to send me a sample file, I can do an A-size color laser test print for you to see if you like the results...
