The weather forecast for this Thursday has been up and down the last few days. Currently it looks pretty nice with an air temp that could get above 60 and a much lower chance of rain than the forecast had yesterday. Water temps are still in the 40's, so proper paddling clothing is required.
Marine forecast: NW winds around 5 kt...becoming se in the afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less.
Boston Water Temp: 47 degrees
High Tide this Thursday is at 7:20pm and sunset is at 7:50pm, so I think we'd want to be on the water by 5:00pm at the latest. I hope to arrive by 4:10 or so.
Proper cold water gear and rescue skills are absolutely required with the water temperature still being in the 40's.
Please reply if you plan to attend and state whether you plan to stay for PPR or not.
Of course those that can't make it in time to paddle are welcome for NPR (non-paddlers refreshment).

Re: 2nd Hingham Paddle, 2nd Try - 5/8/14
Only 3 of us made it out to paddle, Jordan, Ken W. and Norm. We went out around Bumpkin and then over and around Slate and Grape. About 6.6 nautical miles. It was very nice out there. Not as nice as Wednesday evening but still a very nice night for early May. The water is really warming up and gloves are no longer needed.
All 3 of us went to PPR at Stars and had Southwestern salads.
Do any of you feel silly for staying home to watch a 0 - 0 hockey game that didn't end till after 10:30pm?
