Hello all,
I am a paddler from Oregon and will be visiting the south-of-Boston area for a wedding on Oct 25. If I can find some people to paddle with, I would love to get out on the water on the 24th (Friday) and meet some east-coast paddlers. I will need to rent (or borrow) a boat, but can bring other gear if I know I have solid plans. Cohasset harbor is very near where I will be, and I will have a rehearsal dinner at 6:30 PM that evening, so will need to be off the water well before that.
I'm a BCU 3-star paddler from Oregon, and member and trip leader with the Oregon Ocean Paddling Society.
Best regards,
Ken Scholz

Cohasset Harbor is a terrific place to paddle out of. I'm camping that weekend and can't make a trip like that, but hopefully you can find others that can. Parking is a little tricky, but you can drop of your gear and park a short walk away from the launch.

Really, you call yourselves OOPS?

That's cool. Wish we'd thought of something like that.

Yes!
OOPS
And a few years back there was a movement to change the name of "trip leaders" to "trip organizers", and there was an alternative motion to call them "people organizing ocean paddlers"

So was that second motion called Number 2?
