Off season PPR proposal

Post by Ken R »

Thursday Jan 8th.
Previous off season PPR gatherings have been the first Thursday of the month. I was going to suggest the fairly new Mexican Restaurant at the intersection of Rt 228 and Rt 53, that opened about a year ago. Because we have not been there I am hesitant to suggest it unless it is seconded by someone fist hand knowledge. I have heard some good things and only one friend had a bad server. I'm open to other places. If I don't put it on my schedule something else will be.

This new restaurant took the place of the Chili's that use to be there. I've been looking forward to trying it

what is the normal time generally? what is the head count? Would you like me to be in charge of making reservations?

I think its 8 counting you, but not Kit.
Not counting Joe's maybe, either.

6:00 is perfect.

Do you need help with reservations? I know you are on the road alot.

Please add one to the count...whoever is counting...
Helen is planning to come this time.
I stopped in and checked to see if they have gluten free items on the menu and they do.

Be careful to park on the correct side of the restaurant where the main door is.
I parked on the wrong side and had to walk around in the cold...and it will be even colder tomorrow.
The correct door is obvious if you pull into the parking lot on the BP gas station side of the restaurant.

If there will be more than 8, it would be good to make reservations.
It looked like there is only one spot big enough to set up tables for more than 8.
