Florida Bay kayak trip presentation Thursday April 2, 2015

Post by NorwayLady »

Hi everyone.

Earlier this year Briggsy, Norm and I did a one week kayak camping trip circumnavigating Florida Bay. We would love to share our experience with you.

Date: Thursday April 2nd, 2015
Time: 6:30 pm
Place: Bea's house in Marshfield.
Menu: I will order pizza, wings and salad from a local take out place. BYOB. I might ask a couple of you to bring a dessert.

Briggsy will tell us about the trip planning, navigation, food prep since he planned and cooked all the food, and he will of course share with us some highlights from the trip.

Norm will share photos and stories from the trip, and there will be plenty of time for questions.

Bea will host the event. Please pm me so I can send you address and contact info.

Please post on this thread if you plan on coming. We might have to limit the number if there is a lot of interest.

Here is the link to the trip report we did. Written by Briggsy with comments from Norm and me.

Hope to see you. All welcome.

I would like to join you all and hear about this trip.

I will bring extra beer (believe me, you don't want me to bake anything...)

Bea, can you send your address to rkhederian@verizon.net?

Thanks

Thank you everyone for joining us last night. Now you just have to remember that the price tag for the evening is that you have to entertain the thought of posting something in the "Upcoming Trips" section this season. It could be anything: A kayak trip of any distance, a skills and rescue session, a full moon paddle, a kayak beach party, a white water tail gate party. I really don't care what you post, but we all need to post something so we have an interesting and diverse kayak season to look forward to.

Here are a couple of photos from last night:

Thanks again for coming!
