Thursday Sept 17th

Post by Tortoise »

Hi everyone

I see last night was canceled for rolling due to the weather and Pat had a suggestion of doing the roll next Thursday 17th. I thought this was a Hingham night? Alternate Thursday.

Anyone know where next Thursday will be?

I think a skills night in Hingham is a great idea. I'm not rolling, yet :) but I think it would be much harder to do a self rescue in the harbor as opposed to the lake. I'm not sure I want to do that now that the air temperature is cooler being a wimp. Maybe we can do this next summer?

I thought the 17th was going to be in Hingham. If it went according to schedule Hingham is the place. Could one of the powers that be please clarify where people are going on Thursday so I know where to show up.

Hi Nancy,

I think Abby and Steve are going to be at Kiwanee regardless, to get some additional skills time in while the water is still reasonable in temp.

This week is scheduled to be a Hingham Night.

I'm not going to be available to paddle this week, so please solicit those who wish to join you at Hingham and make sure you settle on a time that works for all.

Remember daylight is burning fast these days with Sunset being inside of 7 PM

Have fun

thanks Jordan sorry to miss you this Thursday.

I am up for Hingham if anyone else would like to go. I can get to the beach for 5pm, I realize we won't have much time on the water. Is anyone interested?
