Cohasset Harbor parking

Post by Chip »

Hi All,
What is the latest on the parking for Parker St launch? It seems to change every other year or so and I haven't been in a while.

So far as I'm aware unload your gear and boat at the ramp, and park between the lobster pound and Atlantica. It seems like paddlers are also launching off the marshy spot on the other side of the parking lot, especially at high tide, rather than use the ramp. A wee bit slippery though.
The harbor master watches everything you do, sometimes hits paddlers up for a float plan, and encourages them to file one before heading out.

So, parking on Border St at the end of Parker Ave is a no go now?

I'm almost certain they put up no parking signs all along there. Sorry, you're going to have to walk.

This is too far to walk, but people/cars could be shuttled from this church parking lot nearby.
