Free Chart Beginners Manual

I took a quick look and it seems to be pretty good.
Waterproof Chart company's charts seem to be less commonly available around here compared to the Maptech brand charts, but sometimes they cover an area that Maptech does not or they provide a different, more convenient scale. All of these commercial charts can be expensive, but they stand up pretty well to the rough environment of a sea kayak deck. They can be expensive at 20-25 each. Of course, all of these charts are available free from NOAA to download, but the convenience and durability of the commercial charts can be nice if you don't mind the investment.
