Warm Booties
I'm fairly new to kayaking and to this group. I'm strictly a recreational paddler who paddles the bays for exercise. I've been looking to buy neoprene booties of which there are a lot out there, with reviews all over the place. I got started mid April this past year and was out once or twice in early November, flannel shirt weather basically. I always get in from the water so my feet are always wet. My Tevas which are fine for the warm weather are torture early and late. It's this cooler weather I want the booties for. I have wide feet, which complicates buying on-line. Does anybody have a current favorite, or any other advice to give? Thanks in advance.

Hi Buck,
For cold weather paddling my go to booties are the NRS Boundary Boots

There's some ankle height stuff too.
Staying warm and dry while paddling is always a good thing!
Good luck!

I agree with Jordan about the NRS Boundary boots for cold water. They are about 14” high , so you can usually get in the boat without getting water in your boot.

Hi There
I like the Mukluk boots by Chota in the Spring and Fall. They are tall enough to keep any water from going over the top.
I wear a pair of socks to keep the feet warm
In the Summer I use the booties that go over my ankles. Make sure they have sole that allows you walk over cobble
