Dear WT Paddlers – Friends of Chris,

I am personally reaching out to each of you, requesting your support for a fund raising effort, for everyone’s favorite Sensei Chris Rolt.

As many of you have come to know, Chris is fighting the good fight.

We are going to Raffle Chris’ Sea Kayak (Impex Serenity Sport)




Tickets will be sold as follows:

Please mail your checks to my home address, if you don’t have it, please private message, email me, or look me up the old fashion way (Randolph).

I will be posting a Raffle Drawing date that will take place in early May.

Its April already, and as we get ready to hit the water again, please keep passing along the raffle information to other folks in our paddling community.

The Drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1st.

If you makes you feel any better your not alone, and not the first. My check was lost enroute to deposit, fortunately putting a hold was easy on line. I issued a replacement too.

It is with a heavy heart that I post this update.

Our Friend, WW Extraordinaire, and everyone's Favorite Sensei Chris, passed away today.

He fought the good fight, with as much courage as I've seen anyone do.

We were all fortunate to have him enter our lives and to be friended by him.

I'll keep you posted.

Extremely sorry to hear this. Chris was always positive upbeat guy. I loved his ability to never give up. This illness must have been hard for him. I’ll miss seeing him at the get togethers.

Here’s a short video of Chris’ positive attitude. Quality is not great. Wait till the second half and listen close.

You could always count on Chris to be witty instigator of great fun on a trip. Quiet spoken and always ready with a big smile!

You will be greatly missed Sensei.
