Andrew Macauley Missing in Tasman Sea

Hi folks,

Just wanted to pass on that Andrew M's mission to cross the Tasman Sea has apparently gone awry yesterday, 80km short of his goal. Wavelength and his own site are posting updates as they come - his PFD and drysuit were not found, but his overturned kayak was spotted west of New Zealand.(correction)

Say a prayer for Andrew and hope he is o.k. and is rescued soon. I am not sure if he was EPIRB equipped or not but I imagine a drift plot will be
mapped and the search will continue. I can only speculate what might have caused this - rogue wave capsize, shark,whale, dehydration or other but hope that he is found.
