Upcoming NSRWA trips

Post by pat »

Turns out that there IS life outside of WTP, and I wanted to just mention a couple things that NSRWA has going on for paddlers.

You can find more information about these events here.

Green Harbor River Paddle
Sunday, May 27, 9 AM

This is a great opportunity to explore the Green Harbor River up through the middle of the Mass Audubon Webster Saturary. PFDs and pre-regisration are mandatory as the trip is limited to 10 people. Suggested donation is $10. We will provide directions on where to meet when you sign up.

Low Tide Paddle and Exploration
Sunday, June 10, 12:30 - 2:30 PM

Join Carolyn Sones to explore the salt marsh at low tide. Can we find the remains of the wreck of the schooner “Emma” off of Damon’s Point? What animals and birds inhabit the creeks when the tide goes out? Be prepared to get a little muddy! Pre-registration is mandatory, as space is limited. Suggested donation if $10 per boat. PDFs are required. Meet at the Drifway Conservation Park in Scituate at 12 noon.
