Row for the bay in New Bedford - 7-14-07

Post by pat »

Just received this email:

The Buzzards Bay Rowing Club, in conjunction with the Coalition for
Buzzards Bay, is sponsoring the 2'nd Annual Row for the Bay on Saturday,
July 14.

I have attached some info below and also a photo from the event held last
July. Last year was our first year of doing Row for the Bay and
participating were 3 Beetle whaleboats from NB, 2 Azorean whaleboats form
NB, Hawaiian outrigger canoe, canoes, kayaks, gigs from Plymouth, livery
boats, dorys, etc. We expect an even bigger turnout this July. The event
is held at Fort Taber Park in New Bedford and it was amazing to see so many
rowing/paddling craft there. Pass the word on.
