Hi Folks,
Classes are filling and the deadline is approaching for the early sign-up discount for the 5th Annual Downeast Sea Kayaking Symposium. Cost for 4 days of classes is $550 for those who sign up by July 15. After that, the cost is $600 for all four days. Single-day and half-day sign-ups are offered, too.
We've added classes and coaches since we first posted symposium information.
Dates are Friday, Sept. 10 through Monday, Sept. 13., on Mount Desert Island, Maine.
New This Year: We're mixing it up this year, offering new classes (along with the usual favorites) and dividing them into series based on skill level and interest: Fundamental Skills; Beyond the Basics; Masters Series; BCU Series; and Just for Fun. The Masters Series is for experienced and trained paddlers looking to push the performance envelope even further -- much further. If you feel you qualify, please call us or e-mail us, as enrollment in these courses will be limited, with prior approval required.
