Skills, Hanson 9/15/11 ???

Weather forecast is questionable for tonight but depending on which weather site you look at and whether you are an optimist or pessimist, there is a 50% chance it won't rain.

Anybody going to Hanson tonight? Do we know if the gate will be unlocked?

Hi All,

Tonight I won't be able to make it. I don't know if the locked gate was an issue due to the Hurricane or the end of the season at Kiwanee.

Well, I left my desk for a meeting at 1:00pm and the weather looked great. I got back to my desk at 2:00 and it's dark and raining (in Boston). The doppler radar is blossoming with nasty looking storm cells across eastern CT and RI that are rolling into SE Mass. Paddling tonight is looking doubtful. The typical Thursday night weather curse persists!!!

Yeah, it's not looking too good. I'm hearing thunder here at home, so I guess I'm baking cupcakes with my son instead! Not a bad alternative.

9-15-11 4 PM ---- Gate is open, pond is very calm, tide is high, lots of room in the parking lot, rain is very heavy

Flash -- 4:15 PM rain is much lighter, sky is starting to clear, temperature dropped. This could be a possibility???
