It's almost time to put the kayak away for the season and I had a great 1st year kayaking. I enjoyed it so much that my wife also has a kayak now. I would like to know if any of you do any sort of exercise or stretching to keep limber over the winter. I have always had a hard time getting in and out gracefully from my kayak and want to work on that over the winter. Maybe some sort of yoga move or stretching exercise.
Let me know if anyone here does anything like that or am I always going to have to look like an ass when I go
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
For me, an AB Ball is a great way to get your core strong for good boat handling, especially for bracing and rolling.

I agree... definitely worth the cost and time put into it!
Besides, with a little imagination, it acutally 'feels' like you're in the cockpit.

Yes, I'll give it a try. Hope this weather holds out, Saturday can't come soon enough.
