Skills for Thursday 9/19

Post by kayakerjnj »

Hi All,

Daylight is fading fast these days, and the water temps are cooling off............. Sadly the we're down to last formal sessions in Hanson for the season.

It is supposed to warm up this Thursday so if you're still looking to attend it should a great night.

Who know's with all the Turkeys that are rolling, a ROLL OFF could be a lot of fun to watch this year.

For those of you who will be operating a stop watch, start practicing :P

Yo Jordan! Abby and I will be there but only for skills...."The Roll off" should be a grand event! Not to dilute the content, so to say, but perhaps we should create other categories of rolling excellence? "What on EARTH???" you might ask? Well, such as: "The Silliest Roll?" "The Barely-made-it-roll" (my personal event!) "The head-WAY-out-of-the-water-FIRST roll", The"Slamyourselfintothewatersooofastthatyourfriggnnoseclipfallsoff roll." Just a couple of suggestions from a Brother Turkey! See ya there!

I really wish it was going to be cooler. I hate wearing a dry top when it's warm. But with all these cold nights, I'll be the water chills off a lot.

Oh, and in for both.

I'll be there for both, and I will probably be the winner of "What kind of a roll is that" category!
