Wild Turkey Paddlers

Anyone interested in current sessions at Little Harbor? I'm thinking perhaps an ongoing Wednesday afternoon session, playing on either the incoming or outgoing tide, whatever works out with the tide that week. Great venue to work on boat handling in moving water. Can work on eddy peels, ferrying, and trying to get up on the standing waves. Also a great way to work on edging and bracing in dynamic water, a great way to build up your comfort for more challenging conditions.
Please have a helmet and boat with flotation.

Wednesday the 27th, I'll be there this week heading over around 3:30ish to play the incoming tide, which is high around 6. Will be able to paddle out of Little Harbor probably shortly after high tide, getting back to the put in a little after 7. If interested please respond, if no one is interested I'll probably change my plans for a short boat session at the wave. Thanks John M

I'm definitely interested in a current paddle (I've almost exclusively done flatwater). I can't do August 3rd, though, because of vacation plans.

Wednesday the 10th the high is 5:30pm, although it's only an 8 foot tide, can play the incoming tide at Little Harbor starting around 3-3:30, and probably be back at the put in by 6ish. Small tide but would be a good introduction to paddling in current.

Can't make Wednesday but hoping to get a Friday afternoon short boat session in, starting at 4pm for the 7 o'clock high tide. If you have a ww boat and want to play let me know. Thanks John M
