Skills June28

Post by kayakerjnj »

Hi all,

If the weather gives us a break, this is the week I am planning to get back in the boat!

Have a great week and hope for some afternoon clearing on Thursday!

After all this time, that bottom surely does need some sun :D

We'll see how shoulders feel first, the desire to get wet is there for sure!!

I'm planning to be there if nothing else gets in the way...

Might be bringing a rookie with me to experience her first rescue practices.

It's looking like we're going to get a bunch of rain tomorrow.........At this point I'll look to see everyone in two weeks for skills.

Have a great day!

Ok, I concede to the weather also and accept that tonight will not be worth a trip to Hanson...

Am I correct in thinking there is no event in either Hanson or Hingham this Thursday (July 5), and that the next outing will be on 7/12?

This Thursday is Hingham. It is on a separate thread not in "Skills and Training"

There was no posting for a trip this Thursday in Hingham yet, so I added one since I'm currently planning to be there. See the posting in the General Discussion forum. http://www.wtpaddlers.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4063

No, not weekly. We meet in Hanson when the evening tide in Hingham Harbor on Thursday's is bad. Tonight we are in Hingham. Next week, 7/12/18, we should be in Hanson if the weather is good.

Great, thank you Norm appreciate the response. I should be there next Thursday night unless there is a change.

Looking forward to joining the events. Just got into kayaking 2 yeas ago and I'm pretty much addicted at this point.
