Ken Reardon led the first trip of the season on the Charles River but forgot his camera, so he asked me to write the trip report.

The trip was 13 miles for the group that chose the longer version where we went through the locks, out into the harbor and over to the U.S.S. Constitution.

I think the shorter version was probably about ten miles.

Thank you Ken for organizing this paddle and Norm for the photos. It was a wonderful way to see the city on a beautiful spring day.

This building was under construction last year and it's interesting to see it finished.

What is going on with this building??? It looks like an optical illusion. Is there a cut taken out of the center of it, or is that some sort of statue between you and it?

Norm did the hard part, the trip report. Thanks!

That is one of my favorite spring trips.

Pat: The building has an interior waterfall. Looks pretty cool.
