The trip: Circumnavigate Hull
The organizer: John Martinsen
The participants: Kate Hartland, Ken Reardon
The distance: 9 miles
The travel time: 3 hours
The meme: ONE OF THESE 10 STATEMENTS IS NOT TRUE
1. It is possible to circumnavigate a peninsula.
2. Our only stop on the trip that Sunday was at a church.
3. Late in the trip, as spirits flagged, a pink duck suddenly appeared on the deck of my pink kayak.
4. At one point as wind picked up to 35 knots, waves reached a height of 5 feet just off a jutting rocky point.
5. John's secret fuel for a 9-mile trip is pickles.
6. Nantasket Beach was empty on this weekend before Memorial Day.
7. Ken believes his kayak is asymmetrical.
8. When faced with an oncoming barge at Hull Gut, Ken said we could out-run it and should cross, I said we should land at the tip of Hull, and John said we should wait it out where we were. All of these responses could have been predicted, given Ken, John, and Kate.
9. Lifeguards did not chase us off our first landing take-out spot.
10. It was a well-organized and very enjoyable trip.

So, no one wants to do the facebook thing and guess which one is not true? Maybe it's that obvious....
