See my post in "past trips" for "Cape Cod Pt 1 25th May 2011."
I am better now!!!! I am going regardless unless there are lightning storms or tornadoes.
New launch spot though....at the end of Valley Bars Rd at a place called Monks Cove (Thanks Gif!) There is public parking immediately before the rail bridge on both sides of the road. This is just south of Monument beach parking.( I tried to download a Google Earth map but keep getting message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.", will try again tomorrow.)
Please let me know if you are interested by Mon pm as I will be working all day Tuesday till 10pm and will not be able to co-ordinate the trip!!!
Meet time same, 9am, shuttle then aim to launch at 10am.
Cheers Briggsy

Briggsy - I still hope to join you this week. I may have to use my shorter boat as it allows me to flex my soar knee more comfortably. I tried it today and was able to sustain a speed of 3-4mph no problem and sat in it for over 3 hours and 9 miles. The skeg on my long boat is messed up anyway.
Just gotta make arrangements to get the day off and get others to cover my on-call responsibilities during that day and I should be good to go.
