Pablo,
I should be able to make it to the beach by 12:30-1:00
Can you work with that considering the tide?

Ken
12:30 -1:00 PM sounds fine. Where are you coming from ?
I thought we might go to spectacle lovells, Rainsford and back to wollaston. Adjusting as we see conditions. But I am flexible if you would like to visit some places you haven't done before.
Marine forecast and weather look very favorable.
WE could launch near the yacht clubs on Wollaston or at the Morrissey Blvd Boat Ramp
Regards
Pablo

Plymouth.
I'm fine with any of islands.
Will we have an issue returning to Wollaston beach near low tide?

Hi
To be on the safe side we could launch from the houghs neck public boat ramp which is "tide safe" then take the gut out to George's and Lovells and back via Rainsford. I will check out the beach today one hour after low tide to see how manageable it might be.

Hi Ken, et al
Lets meet at 1:00 PM and launch promptly thereafter. We will launch from the the Quincy Maritime Center
which is the name for the Quincy police maritime unit building and public boat ramp on Bay View Road adjacent to the Quincy yacht club
137 Bayview Road
Quincy, MA 02169
There is a concrete ramp, about 8 parking spaces next to it and a large paved lot 20 yards away with plenty of room to include boat trailers. I checked with the police unit and the large lot has no resident restrictions and is open for overnight parking. A good place if you are camping on the Islands.
It sometimes has a working outdoor shower.
There is a concrete ramp, but a small gravelly/sand area to the left side if you prefer to launch from that surface.
It's busy on summer weekends but not impossible. Occasionally on the summer weekends a lobster boat will tie up at the adjacent dock and sell live lobsters in the afternoon (3-5 PM)
I look forward to see you all
