I'm bringing assorted sandwiches.

Just a brief note to some of the new folks that may wish to join us.

It's a night paddle, please bring something to illuminate your boat for the return trip. PFD's are a must.

Remember everyone needs to be sufficiently proficient to take care of themselves if the need arises.

We should have perfect weather for our evening out, already looking forward to it! :D

I'm not entirely lost ;) I am however bringing you your new bug net, that's been sitting on my desk for a little while now! I'll make sure I bring some "cooked" sushi too.

The launch is easy to find- I drove down the driftway and spotted it easily.
Moonrise at about the same time as sunset ! Does it get any better than that !!?

I usually just use a headlamp, but I found a pretty good deal at Amazon for a stern light and I picked up one of those.

Have fun everyone. Wish I could be there but I'll be on a plane returning from Wyoming. I'll be looking for any strays as we come in for a landing after midnight. Be safe out there and have a great time!

Folks from up here are telling me I'm nuts to try to tackle the 128 weekend traffic (coming from Sudbury/rt 20) and therefore fellow paddlers are unwilling to come with me. WELL, I REALLY want to paddle with you guys! So I'm gonna head out around 3:30 ish and try my best. I do remember that the last time I paddled with you it did take me 2 1/2 hrs. I'll leave at 3:00.

Should I NOT show up by launch time do go ahead without me. I'll be sitting in a walmart parking lot somewhere in between crying and eating 3 doz choc chip cookies.

Is there someone I should call to let know should I decide to abandon all hope and turn around?

That was a GREAT paddle! Thanks Pat and everyone for making it so- wonderful company and yummy food. Loved seeing "old" WTP friends and making new! I especially loved meeting Deb and Dottie and learning the story of the love and caring that this wonderful group holds for such a precious member. Hearts bigger and shinier than that gorgeous full moon!

Thanks to everyone who came and everyone who brought food. Special thanks to Elaine for loaning me a shirt :), to Jordan for regularly rescuing everyone's boats from the incoming tide, and to Deb for Bon Voyaging us at the launch! Next time, I'll make parking lot reservations for thirty.

Pat,

Thank you so much for posting the trip.
Peach is definitely your color.

Everyone,

The food and the company was excellent.

Deb,

It was soooo good to see you, and Dottie so wonderful to meet you.

Hopefully we'll get a chance to do another moonlight this season.

Yes, thanks for the pics Pat. I am looking for the instructions for downloading pics. I have a couple I'd like to share. Or, do we have a Facebook page we can download to?
