Sunday May 21st Hull Circumnavigation 10am

Post by Johnysmoke »

Been wanting to try this one for awhile, need to get it in before memorial day weekend and parking restrictions.
Put in at the public ramp next to Jake's seafood, park cars across the street on Nantasket. Then paddle the inside of Hull Bay, stop at Bumpkin for a strecth, paddle out of the Hull gut, then around the outside of Hull to land on Nantasket. Tides set up well with a high tide of noon, making going out through the gut hopefully uneventful.
It's 9ish miles altogether, and I'm going to be paddling slowly as it will be my first time out this season.
Appropriate paddling gear, attire, skills, and boat required.
If weather doesn't work out I'll try and reschedule for the next day or weekend.

Ugh, of course plans have changed for mother's day, so going to need to push this back a week, which makes it more of a morning paddle. Going to push this back a week for Sunday May 21st and meet at 10am to get on the water by 10:45ish or so.

Sorry to miss you Bea, maybe we can find time to go play in Cohasset when it warms up a bit.
