Thursday Night Gathering 1/27

Post by kayakerjnj »

Greetings and Happy New Year All,

Thursday nights have been WTPaddler nights, and we should start the season with a fun gathering after work.

Open to locations and timing for the gathering. In the past we've met in Braintree at the 99 / Uno etc around 6 PM.

Let's get the flock together!

Please post your RSVP and suggestions for our first Thursday night venue.

Cheers!

Great idea Jordan. I'm free that night and game for any location. The 99 might work better for me if I can convince my wife to come along - the 99 has a special Gluten Free menu - my wife just discovered she has this food allergy recently.

This is not looking good. The season has not even started and you are letting work interfere.

The bigger obstacle to Nelson paddling this year will be his new boat  :P

Lot's to still do before I put it in the water. I got a new truck though so at least now I can get it to the water

No choice on working late, we have to work with another vendor.

Aww, I would love to catch up with you all but I'm committed to short boat pool sessions in Brookline on Thursday nights until the spring. I will be with you in spirit at least. There is a small chance that I might be able to pop in a say a quick hello before heading to Brookline - depends how crazy work is that day.

Anyway, have fun!

Hopefully this snow will finish up early in the day tomorrow and make travelling for easy our evening gathering.

I'll make reservations for 10 people tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing the gang!

Looks like Kayak Widow and I can stop by for a quick hello :) No need for reserved seats for us as we will need to leave around 6:30 or so.

Thanks, Jordan, for getting the flock together. Great seeing everybody. Let's start making a wish list over Wild Turkey destinations for 2011. Many of our past trips are worth repeating.

Sorry Kath and I couldn't make it. Something about the 3.5 hour trip kept us at home. That, and the fact that you guys get WAY more snow than we do up in temperate Midcoast Maine.

Heh, heh...

When you're planning trips, remember that we're only a few minutes from gorgeous kayaking off the St. George peninsula and close to other great destinations. We'd love to host any of our WT friends.
