spectacular photos, Ron! The light in some of them was other-worldly.

I would love to have the narrative along with these. If it's too much to write it up, I wonder if you'd narrate a slide show for us at a winter gathering.

I am working on a write up. Falling on my duties. The slide show narration sounds like a good idea.

Ron and Chip, I still have photos for you, one of these days. Happy to host a slideshow sometime, I can borrow an LCD projector.

One idea that just came to me: we could also make part of the presentation an informational workshop on how to plan a trip to Prince William Sound for any Wild Turkeys that hope to paddle there someday. We could go over charts and potential routes, share resources, rental and water taxi service etc. Maybe tag it on the end of the slideshow as an option. If we gather here, I would be happy to make pizza.

Ron, Chip, Carolyn Sones, Sarah and I would like to invite any and all Wild Turkey Paddlers to a presentation on paddling Prince William Sound on Saturday December 14th at 6:30 at our house at 214 Moraine Street (3A) in Marshfield. We will share some photos and stories. For those of you that are interested we could also get out charts and some other resources to kindle anybody's interest in paddling there someday. We will make pizza and ask that you bring your own beverage of choice. Let us know if you are interested so we can plan for estimated numbers. We might leave the windows open and spray a garden hose into the living room to recreate the experience of the first week of our trip.

This sounds great, Doug! I am in, and I expect Kate will wish to come also. (A rare weekend in December when she will be home.) It will be great to see you guys again.

I was going to share my online photo album from PWS, but see that the site no longer exists, lol.

You can put me down for a tentative 2 people, but will have to see how the better half is feeling, otherwise I'll be there solo. My photo collection still hasn't manifested itself from our move last winter, so I'm a negative for photo duty.

Hi All, we are looking forward to next Saturday night. We live at 214 Moraine Street (route 3A) in Marshfield, right near the Duxbury town line. Look for the Garretson Cranberry sign out front of the white cape on the hill. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the wooden barn on the right of the house. See you then.

We are still on despite the hype about snow. Matt Noyes has snow totals for the south shore at 3". Having said that, if folks feel more comfortable arriving earlier, we can certainly push things back. We could start serving pizza at 5 staggering (the pizza that is) until everyone has arrived and eaten. Maybe shoot for a 7:00 showing of photos. Those who need to stay on the original schedule would still get plenty to eat and it might give folks a chance to leave earlier to get ahead of the worst of the weather. If things are chugging along, nobody should feel they aren't welcome to stay till whenever. After all, it is the Turkeys we are dealing with here. Let us know and we will accommodate folks in a way that works best.

Russ and I are still on, but might arrive on the late side since we have a Christmas lunch for family at our house earlier in the day. Russell's sister Beth visiting from Texas might be joining us.

Can we bring anything?

Hey Doug - Yes, I am the Anne going to Exuma.

In Case I chicken out re weather, could you pm me a phone number so I can let you know. I am used to driving to VT in the snow, though usually with a one person push with me. The traffic gets less as one goes north. Don't know the traffic from here to Marshfield this time of year and won't have the one person push. Thanks.
