The forecast for Saturday is not looking good - winds to 20 knots, seas 3 feet or more. Sunday is looking better with winds forecasted to drop to 9 knots , but seas at Race Point will stlll be 3 feet. Race Point low tide is 2:30 on Sunday, so if the seas drop, then a put in of about 11 would be idea...

Hi. I paddled from Manomet Point almost to Ellisville today, and there were no whales. I saw a news blurb yesterday from Race Point, and they were there again. Mid week there were 60 between Scituate and Green Harbor. It's a baffling year. l'm watching the forecast in hopes of making it out to ptown...

I'm going to watch the weather for this Sunday - April 21. Right now the forecast is favorable, and low tide is at 11:16. If we meet at 9:45/10 and shove off at 10:30 we can catch the tail end of the tide out, be at Race Point at slack tide, and then come back with the tide. Let me know if anyone is...

I was out there a couple of weeks ago -- the side of the parking lot we launch from was plowed free of sand. There has been a lot of erosion, but it's gradual there, and putting in will not be a problem. Count me in!

Reminder -we're meeting at 5:30 at Plymouth Beach - just past Sandy's Restaurant to go out to Brown's Bank for a sunset/moonrise picnic.
Night lights, spray skirts and wet exit required.

Meet at 5:30 (yes, on Saturday). By then there is no charge to get onto the beach. I've typically gotten back just around 10, we'll shoot to get there just before 10.
