I'm not going to be able to make any more skill for this year. Leaving for the road on October 10th. Have a few thing I must get done. You All have a great Fall and Winter. See you all in the Spring

Hi all,

I'm in! Fortunately I'll be leaving from work this Thursday, so a bit closer :)

I will be there and Eric will try to make it, depending on work.

If work permits I'll be there.

I will probably be there (also work permitting) and Sharon may come late if she's not too exhausted from babysitting grandchildren.

Hi Everyone

I'd love to join! Anything I need to know or do besides show up with appropriate equipment?

Weather looks fine today. See you all this afternoon.

Hannah— bring whatever kayak you usually paddle with and any equipment you would like to practice with. If you have a wetsuit May want to wear it as can get chilly.

Change of dry clothes recommended for after.

I want to try a wet exit/maybe roll in my dry suit so will bring that.

Do you meet at the boat ramp there? I'm seeing 210 Clark Rd. if I google the address.

Yes, that is the correct address. Pull onto the boat ramp area when you arrive to unload your boat and gear and then move your vehicle to the big parking lot. I usually unload my gear onto the sidewalk beside the ramp and then go park my car. At the far end of the parking lot is a porta-potty that can be handy if you're coming from any distance. There's a nice, shallow sandy spot to the left of the boat ramp that you can use to get into your boat if you don't like getting in at the ramp. Beyond the sandy spot is a private beach that is roped off that we usually stay out of unless there is nobody there.

I'm not going to make it to Plymouth tonight after all. I had a tree come down in the storm yesterday and I want to spend the evening cleaning up the yard so I can play outside with my grandson while babysitting tomorrow.
